Voting period has ended!
We at Macbeth and Blackstar Amps are super psyched to announce the winners of our online voting competition!
All 30 bands showed us how devoted their fans are!They definitely used their PR skills and we saw some of the coolest and creative video's and online posts!
Now, after one week of hard work and thousands of votes each day, we proudly announce the bands that are invited to play our stage at the Groezrock Festival on the 27th & 28th of April in Meerhout, Belgium.
The band that gained the top most votes and therefore wins the:
- A Blackstar HT-50 head + HTV412 cabinet
- Matching John Wood flight cases
- Macbeth shoes for the whole band
Is he Belgium band Dead end Sin. Congratulations guys. You truly deserve this!
Dorm Patrol & The Detectors were battling hard till the bitter end for the last spot on the bill. They both ended up having the exact same percentage of votes. This left us with no choice but to invite them both to come out and give them the chance to show the Groezrock audience what they've got.

These 11 bands will be sharing the stage with our Swedish friends Like Torches (former ,You ate my Dog) and Nations Afire (featuring members of Rise Against, Ignite, Death By Stereo and Reach The Sky).

Thumbs up to all of you who voted and helped your favorite band to win! We will raffle 3 pairs of Groezrock combi tickets and 3 pairs of shoes amongst the voters. The winners will be notified by email.

Big thanks to the hundreds of bands that signed up for our competition!Sunday March 3rd a panel of music industry professionals reviewed all the submissions and made a selection of 30 possible candidates for our stage at Groezrock.
The 30 bands that made it and therefore enter the voting round of the competition are listed below.
Voting starts March 11th and the bands have till midnight March 17th to get as many votes as possible on this website.
The top 30 bands now have to show us how devoted their fans are, they have to test their PR skills, their creativity and they will have to use their network, cause the more votes, the more chance they have to play our stage!
On March 18th, we will announce the 10 bands that gained the most votes and thus qualify for a spot on the Macbeth stage powered by Blackstar at the Groezrock Festival 2013!
The band that gains the top most votes will also win:

Next Sunday a panel of music industry professionals will be reviewing all submissions and make an initial selection of 30 possible candidates for the Macbeth Groezrock stage powered by Blackstar.
If your band makes it into the voting round you will receive notice by March 4th. The bands will also be announced on this website.
So you better start preparing yourself for the voting competition and watch this space! The voting starts on March 11th and closes March 17th at midnight.

It’s battle time again!
Let’s be honest dudes and gals, this is the competition you’ve all been waiting for since Groezrock 2012. But now we are ready to kick off the battle of all battles. Europe's most famous rock competition and your chance to bring your band to Groezrock festival 2013!
You better come prepared because this is your chance to win a spot in the line up of the Macbeth stage powered by Blackstar at Groezrock Festival 2013. Last year over 600 bands signed up.

Sign your band up by filling out the form below before February 24th and show us what you’ve got.
A panel of music industry professionals will review all submissions and make an initial selection of 30 possible candidates for the Macbeth Groezrock stage.
These bands will be announced on March 4th on this website.
The 30 bands that make it to the 2nd round enter into the voting competition in which they will have to get as many people as possible to vote for them. Show us how devoted your fans are, test your PR skills, your creativity and use your network, because the more votes, the more chance you have of playing our stage!
On March 18th, we will announce which 10 bands have gained the most votes and thus qualify for a spot on the Macbeth stage powered by Blackstar at the Groezrock Festival 2013!
2 bands will receive a golden ticket by the jury to come out and make it straight to our stage and 2 spots are booked for Macbeth friends, last year we had our fellows of Swellers and We Are The Ocean over as our special guests and this year we are proud to welcome Nations Afire featuring members of Rise Against, Ignite, Death By Stereo and Reach The Sky on April 27th.

Notes:
- Submissions need to be entered before February 24th.
- The first selection of 30 bands will be announced through this website on March 4th.
- The voting period starts on March 11th and closes March 17th at midnight.
- The bands that get offered a spot will be notified on March 18th.
- Groezrock day tickets are included for the artists only.
- The Backline will be provided by Blackstar amplification, it is not possible for bands to use their own backline.
- Stage size is 6m x 4m.
- The 10 bands invited to play have no saying in day or time.
